Introducing my new Niece Baby Keira!

My sister Sher had her first baby last Sunday. I am so excited to be an Aunt and to have a girl cuz for my little girl to play with. My daughter was so happy to see her she talks about her all the time. When she saw her she was a bit shy. Then after we got home she said " Mommy I want baby Keira to play with me at the park." I giggled and let her know she can in a few years.

Congrats Sher on your 10 lbs baby girl!

U2 is coming out with a new album in March which I will get as soon as it is released a sweet christmas preasent from my bro. I have loved and listened to them since Joshua tree album came out. I can't wait till the new album comes out. They just released a single from the album check it out it is called "get on your boots"; Love to know your thoughts on this song.

Fun in Bisbee

So I went on Sunday to Bisbee, AZ. A four hour drive from Surprise, AZ. Had to go to this photographer get together trash the dress session. It was so much fun to meet other photographers and see this historic place. Awesome location with gorgeous models. Lots of fun. Even when the rain poured one of the models was still shooting outside. This couple below was ready to get wet in the end of the day.

I did a quick mini session for my sister inlaw. It was a lot of fun. I should be getting the prints in the mail today very excited to see the first image printed and enlarged to a 16x20 sprayed and matted. These will be so awesome above your fire place Anika! Can't wait to see them in your home.

This weekend, I did my first Bridal Show in Phoenix. I had such a great time. I got to talk to so many brides and joked around with the grooms. Looked at every ones booths. Visited my friends booths. Mohawk fun

Here is my 2 year old with a mohawk. I just did it for fun. He needed a hair cut his hair was really long and out of control due to his two calic's one infront of his head and one in the back. It's funny they go in opposite directions so his hair sticks straight up all the time. I thought since it did that it would be perfect for a mohawk. He just had it for two days. In those two days he went from hateing it to crying that I cut it off. I'll I know I am not going to church with it like this. Plus I was embarrised at the park and grocery store. He is a funny little guy. I think he looks too cute with a mohawk.

the littlest details

Here is a current session with my 9 month old baby girl Audrey. (I really need to get in more photo shoots with her!) Just got this dress and it just happened to match my ugly orange dog. The puppy brings back a lot of memories for me. When I was like 4-6 years old I had a stuffed dog that looks just like this dog. I don't know what has happened to my original dog. Years ago when I was 18 years old I spotted this dog at a grocery store. I bought it right away and saved it for me kids knowing I would like pictures of my kids with this dog. It is a very ugly dog but looks awesome in pictures. Keep a look out for more sessions with the ugly orange dog.

First time being a second shooter

I have been asked once to do a wedding and did it. I was very hard and I want to do more but feel I want to practice first before going out there for real. Thank you Tami Webb a local photographer who has been doing this for 20 years. I was lucky enough to tag along with her on a wedding. This is my second wedding and here is what I have proofed so far. Man it was really tough to shoot a wedding. It makes me think if I really want to do it. But at the end of my long thinking I do. So here is my stuff from it. Let me know what you think. These are pictures of the flower girls taken while we are waiting for the bride to get dressed.

Wow my baby is six months old already. I took these when she was 5 months old. I need to get a 6 month old pic of her soon. I am not too happy with these but wanted to post a pic of her anyway. I will try soon and post those. I have been sick for a month and am just wanting to bet this flu/cold thing. I took pictures of my sister cat I'll post those soon.
